• Riddle #1, What Am I?
You might say that I am “high strung,”
But I am more accurate with the tongue.
I work well under pressure,
And when I do, it’s a pleasure.
When I am new, I have lots of “bounce.”
When I am old, not an “ounce.”
When I’m “on,” I get a “hit,”
When I’m “off,” I could cause a “fit.”
Those who loose at my hand,
Watch the ball from the stand.
