• Bryan & Kristen Are Engaged!
Well, It’s true! Bryan and Kristen announced their engagement this last weekend. After three years of dating and working through the nitty gritty of forming a good relationship, it finally happened. I was clued in that it was imminent, when Bryan took me out to dinner to ask for Kristen’s hand in marriage. He wanted my blessing and permission, which I gave. I respected the approach and the manner of the gentleman.
I congratulate Bryan, he asked Kristen to marry him the old fashion way….
He proposed on his knees (only one, but it counts). Well, we are all a “flutter” at the Kinard home. We are all happy that our youngest is joining her siblings who have all preceded her in marriage. This has been a busy weekend (and there is more to tell, see next post). Kristen and Bryan now will be planning a wedding. Actually, they girls have already begun. No “for sure” date has been set, but maybe Easter time next year, when there is a school break.
See the rocks? Thought you might like to see the engagement ring? Maybe some of you will be able to see it personally. We will be having an Open House to celebrate thier engagement (and other noteworthy family events in August), when all the siblings and grand children will be coming to our home for a few days.
