• Kidology-Button Man
Yep, I became a Kidology Button Man. This week I traveled all the way to San Diego (100 miles) just to get my own Kidology Button. I found out the Karl Bastian, the Kidologist, was going to be at the Children’s Pastors’ Conference, so I arranged to see him for lunch and hang out with him for the day. He thought that I came to see him, but really I wanted to get my own button.
So what is the big deal about the button?
Karl Bastian has been advertizing the free button, if any of the Kidology members would be attending the two CPC programs, either in Orlando or San Diego, they could come and he would give them one. So when it worked out that I could go to San Diego, I knew this was my chance to get my own button. So once I got my button, I wore it all around the Exhibit Hall, only to find others who also had a similiar button. We would stop, introduce ourselves and share our enthusiasm for Kidology. We could put a face to the names we knew from the site. Very Kool. So it was the message of the button…”I am on Kidology,” that was so special.
