• Our Kristen Turns Thirty
Well, it is true! Would you believe it, our youngest daughter, Kristen, just turned thirty on Nov. 28th. It seems like yesterday that we brought this darling little bundle home from the hospital. We have been celebrating this milestone for over a week. While in Palm Springs last week she wanted to go to PF Chang’s for her birthday dinner, nothing is to good for her, so off we went for the evening.
What a wonderful time we had there…
PF Chang’s in Palm Desert has two huge horse statues out front of the Restaurant.
This photo might give you some perspective on the size of the horses. Our 18 month old grand daughter, Madison, was trying to “ride the horsie.” After waiting quite a while we finally got seated and enjoyed the greatest Chinese meal. Yum!
Jennifer, one of her High School friends, was able to join us for the celebration.
This week Bryan, Kristen’s boyfriend, hosted another birthday-dinner party for her, and the family was invited. He treated us to a special gourmet meal that he cooked and served himself, in honor of Kristen. It was another great time. Bryan even baked a cake and decorated it for her.
In reflecting on this special occasion, I am realizing just how much joy Kristen has brought into our lives. She has become a special lady, very talented and she is a gifted teacher of children. Congratulations Kristen!
