Books for India

Books for India Project

For the whole month of March Whittier Area Community Church will be encouraging people to donate used and new books for Sathyam Ministries in India. Sathyam Ministries is the same group that I have traveled with in India three times. They have several needs for English books in their Seminary, grammar schools and orphanages. Randy Mitchell and I are partnering together with this project. However…

This year Creative Children’s Ministries is partnering with Kid-Helper Resources to donate six Kid-Helper Resources Centers in India. These Kid-Helper Resource Centers are like a “Lending Library” for evangelistic resources that will housed in a central location and loaned out for outreach purposes and returned, recycled and used by another worker. These resources include media, equipment, teaching materials, flannel-graph, object lessons, gospel illusions, and puppets— all designed for teaching and reaching children.

The Books for India Project will be the way we will be able to ship this first six Kid-Helper Resources Centers into India. What will follow, once these resources arrive, is another trip to India to train leaders how to use this collection of quality resources.

We are open to partnering with other resource providers to add to this vital collection. Our estimated value for each Resource Center now is about $1,000 each. Please contact us, if you are interested in helping make these resource available.
