Eager and reluctant lips, I’ve seen.
A spectator to the amorous, I’ve been.
I am green with envy, and in fashion,
With a quick peck, I could cause passion.
I have seasonal hang-ups, laying in wait,
For the timid, I improve their gait.
They say, “Life is a bowl of cherries.”
I am the overrated “winter berry.”
Without me, just a hug would be, stupid.
I am the celebrated “yuletide cupid.”
