It was another great evening of learning and fellowship in the art of gospel illusion. Dale Salwak was our guest lecturer. Dale was immensely helpful to our October Meeting of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians. Above you will see most of Club leadership posing with Dale Salwak. It was another great evening of learning some more professionalism for our craft.
Dale Salwak is the Director and the principle instructor of the famous Chavez Studio of Magic. Dale is often a featured performer at the Magic Castle and is known to a number of our members as an excellent magician. According to his biographical sketch: Dale is known as “The Gentleman of Magic.” He is skilled in the classics of magic, his elegant style has made him a favorite for many years in the in finest clubs, showrooms, and theaters throughout the world. As the Director since 1978 of the California-based Chavez Studio of Magic (founded in 1941 by Ben Chavez), he has led hundreds of magicians in pursuit of these same values. A London reviewer says it best: “Dale Salwak doesn’t just do magic; he is magic!” We would concur!
