• Meet the Kinard Family
Sharon and Barney Kinard have four children. We are thankful that each of our children and their mates know the Lord and they are active in their respective churches. Now that our children are grown, family gatherings have become really special events for us (and we get to see the six grand kids). This photo was taken at Ken’s house last fall.
The eldest is Karina, (back left) she is married to Michael West. Karina is a cosmetologist and has her own hair dressing salon. They have two grown children: Cheryl and Matt. They live near Sacramento in Elk Grove, CA.
The second born is Ken, (next right) he is married to Jennifer. Ken has his own Web Design Business. They have three young boys: Benjamin, Tennyson, and Spencer. They live near Baltimore in Lutherville, MD
Kevin is our third born, (further right) he is married to Sarah. Kevin is the General Manager of a Daily Grill Restaurant. They have one young daughter: Madison. They live near us in La Mirada, CA
Our youngest is Kristen, (back right) she is not married, but dating Bryan. She is a teacher of second graders working in a public school in Whittier. Kristen also lives near us in La Mirada, CA
Sharon and Barney just recently celebrated forty-one years of marriage. Barney was called into full-time ministry in 1961 and have been a full-time Children’s Evangelist since 1972 with Creative Children’s Ministries. Sharon has been a nurse by training, but she completed her Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family & Child Counseling. For the last 20 years Sharon has been a Marriage Family Therapist and has been in private practice. During ten of those years she worked as the Director of Counseling Ministries in a local church. Barney and Sharon attend Whittier Area Community Church in Whittier, CA.

Six grandkids? you must be oooooooooold. 🙂 i love the new website, i’m very impressed! looking forward to keeping in touch with your ministry this way.
